Although they are only a few decades apart the gap that divides parents and teens is vast. Their worlds are as different as pay phones and mobile phones, heavy industry and IT and surfing the net and surfing the waves. Teens of this generation are hip, smart-talking, brash and sometimes seem to suffer from an overdose of maybe – inflated egos, while their parents grew up in a time of drugs, divorce and economic strain and proclaim to be smarter for it.
